Sammamish Dentist donates Custom Mouth Guards to 7/8 Green Team

The Skyline Spartans 7/8 Green team received a special bonus this week - custom mouth guards for every player on the team - a great donation to the Spartan Green from the office of Dr Anna Lisin!  Nothing is better than a custom fitted mouth guard for player protection.  Mouth guards are not only there to protect the players teeth and tongue, they are an integral part of protecting players from concussion.

If you are interested in having your player custom fitted, you can learn more about Dr Lisin's practice on her Website.

Spartans JV Battles into the Championship Round of Cavalier Invitational

The Skyline Spartans JV team notched a 3-1 win over Roosevelt Varsity, a 6-2 win over the Shorline Varsity and a 8-2 win over the Skagit Valley Varsity to advance into the semifinals - where they faced an undefeated Okanagan team. The Spartans had 7 player score in the semifinal match and moved into the championship round with a 9-3 victory.

The Cavalier Invitational championship round matched the Skyline JV against the Overlake Varsity. The team played hard, but the final win in the tournament went to the Owls.

Spartans 7/8 Senior Green at the GELL MashUp

It was a good day for the Skyline Spartans 7/8 Senior Green team who played two games at this Saturday's GELL MashUp.  The MashUp was held at the Kirkland Lacrosse Center in Big Finn Hill Park and showcased a number of the region's top teams.

The Washington Lacrosse Officials Association was also present in force using the event as a major Spring tune-up for new and returning Youth referees.  There were a number of Skyline High School players in attendance either going through their first season orientation or helping mentor the new refs.

There is a selection of additional game photos on the Skyline Lacrosse Club's Facebook page - check them out!
