It's Alumni Week!!

It's Holiday Game Time!!

The Annual Skyline Spartans High School Varsity vs Spartans Alumni match is set for Tuesday, December 27th at the Skyline Community Fields starting at Noon and running to 3:00 PM. The 2011 Varsity roster has been set by Coach K and those participating players have been notified.

The Varsity/Alumni match will be followed on Thursday, December 29th with the Spartans High School Club/Alumni Round Robin tourney which starts at Noon and runs to 4:00 PM on the Skyline Community Fields. All registered Skyline Spartan High School laxers (Rising Freshmen - Seniors) are invited and encouraged to participate. The Club will host a BBQ for the participating players following the match featuring their killer hot sandwiches from Big House BBQ who will be set up at the fields for the tourney. Make sure you RSVP to Varsity Captain Jack Pruitt for this so we can help Big House get the goodies right.

***Remember - Completed Spring registration and full gear are required to participate in these events!!!

Spartans Spirit Gear Store Open Now!!

Spartans - the 2011/2012 edition of the Spartans Spirit Gear store is open now! Check out the new items and check back in regularly as new items are being added daily.

Our first order to our vendors will be placed on November 27th so if you want gear for the Holidays you will need to have your order placed no later than Saturday, the 26th of November. The second order date will be set after the holidays and will be timed to have gear in your hands by the beginning of the 2012 season.

Skyline Spartans 2012 Registration Open Now!!

Skyline Spartans Lacarosse Club online registration is now open for Spring 2012 lacrosse. Check out the full lineup of programs for grades 1 - 12 in the Register Online section and signup early to guarantee your place on the field for Spring lax.

New for 2012: A multiple-player family discount of $50 will be automatically applied to families registering two or more players in Skyline Spartans Lacrosse programs in the same season.

Key Dates: Spring 2012 registration deadline is December 15th, 2011 after which a late fee will be applied to all registrations. Registration for all Spartan Spring lacrosse youth programs close on January 15th, 2012. Registration for Spartan High School programs have an earlier close on January 5th, 2012. Register early

The Spartan Senior 7/8 Green team delivered two strong Fall Ball wins this Sunday over Bellevue Blue and Issaquah Gold to a great crowd of Skyline Lacrosse fans.

The Green is coached by Senior Division Director Rene Cespedes and assisted by Spartan Varsity players Nick Riley, Spencer Noonan and Matt Riley.

Skyline Varsity/JV vs SkyLake Spartan Frosh/Owls in Fall Ball

The Spartan Varsity/JV Fall Ball team matched up with the Spartan Freshmen-Overlake Owls joint team in Fall Ball action this Saturday. It was great to see all the Skyline laxers on the field at one time with a lot of great play on both sides.

Two Spartan Varsity players were working this Sunday's Spartan 5/6 Black games in the GELL Fall League. Varsity attackman Nick Mauzy was working the sideline as an assistant coach to Black HC Brad Lees and Varsity Defenseman Spencer Noonan wore the stripes as one of the matches two referees...

Spartan 5/6 Black in Fall Ball Action

The Skyline Spartan's 5/6 Black team dominated in two hard fought matches this Sunday with Bellevue and Woodinville. Tough defense ahead of great goalie work, strong midfield play and an aggressive scoring offense lead to two wins in weekend GELL Fall League action at Lake Washington HS Stadium.

Skyline Spartan Varsity Players Step Up to Coach Spartan Youth Teams

Several Spartan Varsity Players have stepped up this year to help coach our Skyline Youth fall ball teams.... the Youth Assistant Coaches will be featured here each week as their teams play and practice this fall. This weeks snaps feature Ryan Benz and RJ Lockard.

The Skyline Varsity players provide more than just instruction and game-day sideline motivation for their teams - they represent the aspirational goal for many of our youth players.

Spartans 7/8 Black in Fall League Action

The Skyline Spartan's Senior Black 7/8 Youth team was in GELL Fall League action this last weekend at Kirkland's Lake Washington HS stadium. They played an excellent match against Bellevue before taking on a Woodinville semi-select team (Woodinville does not field a select A team so all their best players are competing in the regular bracket).

The Black was coached by Spartan Varsity starters Ryan Benz and RJ Lockard in addition to 7/8 Division Director Rene Cespedes. Additional game pictures will be uploaded to the Pictures section shortly.

Spartans in Fall Ball Action vs Lake Washington

The Spartans took on Lake Washington in Overlake Outdoor League play this weekend on a great Fall afternoon - if you have not attended a Fall Ball match yet this season, get out before the weather gets grumpy and support your Spartan players!

Skyline Spartans Rising Freshmen Form Combined Team

The Skyline Spartans rising freshmen joined with Overlake School to form a combined team at this year's Overlake Fall Outdoor League and they are giving Skyline lacrosse fans a lot to be excited about.

Strong play by the Spartan freshmen members combined with a number of experienced & talented Overlake School players has made the "SkyLake" team a force this Fall season.

Three nationally recruited Skyline Lacrosse Club players announced their collegiate commitments to prominent national programs this month, with two returning to play their Senior year with the Skyline Spartans. The Skyline lacrosse community congratulates Jack Pruitt, Max Saffle and Brennan West on their Achievements! Here are the details on each Spartan in alphabetical order:

Jack Pruitt has committed to play for the Division 1 Denver University Pioneers.

Max Saffle has committed to play for the Division 1 US Air Force Academy Falcons.

Brennan West has committed to play for the Division 3 Whittier Poets.
